Mid Alantic Regional Yo-Yo Contest

I spent today in King of Prussia PA at MAR yo-yo contest. Only a 3 hour drive each way. This is the contest I started about 18 or 19 years ago when Joe Mitchell called me and said I have a toy store and want to run a yo-yo contest, what do I do? I said hire me! He did and I did and boy was it fun. It is now a regional contest that seeds players to the US National contest. There was no Spin Top division but Eric Kowolski(sp) was there manning the Yo-Yo Expert table and was selling yoyofactory short circuit's and elec-trick's led. I got one each, very nice. But the highlite was the 3 kids who also bought tops and noticing the patch on my shirt ask if I could help them? Well long story short, by end of the day one was doing sky rocket to hand some of the time with a great big smile on his face. And the other two were saying that they were going to get their yo-yo club to all play with tops. We should expect some new players here because I told anyone I could about this site. Terrific DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
