For one reason or another, I have been spinning more diabolo lately.  It was fun to see this posted while I am in a "diabolo phase".  Thanks!!!

Ha ha!  Thanks, Jack.  Mysterious Mike?  I think I was stay with my whirling name.

I have dabbled with diabolos long before I could do anything with tops.  I seem to get into it with fits and starts.  I really stagnated for years until I started picking up new information at the world yoyo championships.  I miss the ladder challenges they had.  Actually, one year they were short on the number of people to compete on stage and I joined them with my monobolo.  I think ta0 was going to work on it with me one year but got involved with too many other things.

Kyo is the real man with the diabolo.  I miss being able to hang out with him and getting tips.

I got some good diabolo tips at the Atlanta Juggling Festival a few weeks back.  I was able to do an elevator for the first time.  Pretty fun :)

Wow!  You were at the Atlanta Juggling Festival?  I am envious.  That is a great gathering.  Were a lot of people there?  I was by for one Sunday afternoon years ago on the way back from a youth workers convention.  I met Lao Alovus and his brother.  Matt Ritter later told me that he was there also but that was before I knew him and I did not see him there in Atlanta.

I hope to someday return to that festival and join in the circus band!!!

I was only able to attend for part of Saturday.  The gym is quite large so I was not able to really judge attendance but clearly there were hundreds.

Magic is right! Can't decide which is more astounding, the diabolo performance, the graphics, or the coordination of the two.
