I had a great time at NATS! It was great meeting Jorge, Dave, Mike, Haans (YYF spelling?), and Dereck (already knew him). Thanks Jorge for sharing your vast spin top knowledge with me! It was fun hanging out with Dave, and we enjoyed throwing tops and  a famous In-n-Out lunch. I hope I get to meet up with you guys again soon. I hope I can make it to Cleveland and meet more top players (have to check with the wife).

Glad you were able to make nationals phrawg2001.  It is good to hear that you had a great time.

Funny you should mention Tops grocery, mailman.  I have tried to make contact with them before. They seem happy with their name and are comfortable not having anything spinning associated with it!

It kind of felt more like a state contest than US nats. But I think it was important to do it not to risk Cleveland. Special thanks to Dave for volunteering to get on stage.

Thanks for posting.  You guys inspire me to go out and throw and learn and work on interesting combo tricks.   Sadly it is raining.

It is good to have those videos posted.  Thanks.

So, the stage was plenty wide enough but not very deep.  It did not seem to bother anyone so it is just an observation.  A carpeted floor is a little different than what I have been used to at worlds in Orlando.  These two things would have made it tough on anyone unicycling in their freestyle.

How was the temperature and humidity?  Was it warm in there?

Thanks, Dave, for freestyling.  I like how you had fun with it.  Mike is getting great experience and ta0 is ta0 hitting big tricks.  Good work.

How was the temperature and humidity?  Was it warm in there?

When I attempted the back stab at the end I was aware I could not step backwards and the top landed too far down my back. Perhaps with a deeper stage I could have save it  :-\ (but probably not  ::) )

The temperature and the humidity where ok, but for the first time in a long time I forgot to bring baby powder to dry my hands. I don't think my hands were very sweaty, but it is another excuse I have for missing tricks  :P
