Everything super-clear. Thank you for recording those videos.

Your tops spin in the opposite direction (clockwise for right handed) than ours. I wonder if there would be any advantage for the target top to spin in the opposite direction (it does not seem to be forbidden by the rules).

I look forward to the videos on throwing technique. Thanks!

It's not forbidden. You spin or wound the tujlub base on your preference, whatever makes you feel comfortable. There is no advantage.

I will make a video for spinning and throwing.

Wow!!!  :o  8)

Let's see: a team has six players: you have enough for a complete team! In addition, stage 3 requires 6 target tops and you have one extra.
Move over, Nicks! NY has a new team to watch!  ;D

Once I have posted all videos on how to throw and spin, learn and come compete with us in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We host 3 major tournaments in May, July, and August. It only takes 6 months to 1 year to learn how to play tujlub. Gather a team and come compete with us!!!

I just came home from teaching a kid how to throw over hand long line fighting. So I'm very interested in this sport. I am making another fighter now. Hopefully it will be 3 3/4  diamenter. What type of material is the top made of? PLEASE. And keep the information coming PLEASE.

The tujlub is made of some type of plastic, and I do not remember the type of plastic. I just uploaded a video on "How to Spin a Tujlub". I will make a video on  how to throw a tujlub sometime next week. If you are interested in playing tujlub, contact the person I posted on the forum. Tell him the size you want and he will make a tujlub for you. Once you have your very own tujlub, watch the videos and practice. The Hmong community in Minnesota and Wisconsin hosts the biggest tujlub tournament in May, July, and September. It will only take from 6 months to 1 year in order to know how to play tujlub. Make your own team and come play with us at our tujlub tournament for big money prizes!

Very nice video showing how to spin it on the ground! You must have explained this many times.
The 360 spin looks very powerful!

In what part of Wisconsin do you have the contests?

Learning how to spin a tujlub is difficult for most beginners who are new to tujlub. I have to explain every steps in details as mush as possible. In May over the Memorial weekend and Labor weekend in September, the tujlub tournament takes place at Brown County Fairgrounds in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The tujlub tournament in Minnesota takes place over the July 4th Independence weekend.

Gather a team, watch my videos and practice. Then, come play with us!

Thanks again!

On the video you say that you are left handed but you are throwing right handed: is that correct?

One more question: there is no requirement for a direct hit, right? The tujlub can hit the ground first and then roll and hit the targets and it would still be valid.

Memorial weekend sounds good. I can see a little tour: a visit to Eric and the Schreiber school in Chicago, then drive to spinning top museum in Burlington, and finally the tujlub tournament in Green Bay. I just need 5 more players for the team. What do you say, Mike?  ;)
