Tour de France 2015
« on: July 08, 2015, 03:12:31 PM »

Hello everyone, especially those in the area of the great country of human rights.  The news has been slow around here with updates about the tour.  We did see some dramatic shots from a recent crash.  Does anyone have any insights or comments about this famous bike race?

hello Mike

the first stages have been very hard on the "peleton"(The main bunch of riders)
several have abandoned....

the top riders are Contador, Froome, Nibali, and Quintana : Les 4 Fantastiques

the serious debates will commence at the Pyrénnées stage July 14th

After 21 stages it looks like Froome from Britain is the man.  Quintana from Colombia is just 1:12 behind followed by Valverde of Spain (5:25), Nibali of Italy (8:36) and Contador also of Spain (9:48).

It is amazing to me that if you can stay within an hour of the leaders you will be in the top twenty!!!  Kreuzinger of Czech Republic is 17th and 1:02:51 behind.
