Two weeks ago, Carmen De La Paz a woodturner from Puerto Rico who is based in California came to the island to give some free woodturning clinics. Carmen is a well known woodturner and also a designer, carpenter and all around artist who has a tv show on HGTV and has appeared in many do it yourself type shows.
I had the pleasure of attending the workshop and talk to her about top making. Of course I brought my tops with me and showed her some tricks which she insisted on filming, I didn't know how camera shy I would get but manage to land some tricks. She made a video of some tricks and posted it on her youtube channel and fan page on facebook.
