The Taiwan, top is finished so I made this video to share the changes I made for the top. I hope someone will try it. It's a lot of fun.

Great top!  Excellent explanation of your mods. I would say you almost made it from scratch!

Your killer shot is deadly! I would be afraid of putting one of my tops on your line of fire!

By the way, koma is the name for Japanese tops. This is actually a tuoluo.

What does Tuoluo, mean? I hope it means top killer. I've sent the video to the maker hoping he will try to cut one of these, and sell them on the market.

Luo means spiral (also screw and snail).
Tuo seems to be just a phonetic thing in this case.
Each one is a Chinese character and together it means gyroscope or spinning top.
They are accented on the o: Tuó Luó.

I have not fixed the display of non-western characters on the forum yet   >:(  :-[ but you can see them here:
https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-english-pinyin-dictionary.php?define=tuo+luo

The Chinese writing is: 陀螺

Tao, I sent the video to Joe Chew. I hope these are the people who make this top. If he made these changes a lot of people could have a nice top. When you put the fighting in with the tricks -- I think a lot more people would show interest in this sport.

I took the new spotted Taiwan top to the park. Balance is good. Does nice tricks and hits the target at 16 feet. Target is large coke plastic bottle. I will try thinner line tomorrow and see if I can make a good video. Thanks Jack, and Tao. I just found Jacks video on the new Taiwan tops he has. Good video, nice tricks and good music. These tops are FUN.
