This is the Koma, with fighting tip in and trick tip and long wire walker tip. Top does all the tricks, 65 foot wire walker, 20 foot kill. The plastic bottle cap has the lead weight inside.

That was very accurate and looked pretty deadly! When the day comes and we meet I'll try to bring an armored top with me  >:D

You should try to find out if there is a Hmong community in the Bay Area who plays their traditional Tuj Lub tops (I wouldn't be surprised if there is). Their playing style matches well with what you enjoy!

I have tried using the stick with the top, it's not easy. I have a cut down golf club I'm going to try. I would like to know what string they use and the wood they use. I would make it there Sharp but with a blunt steal tip.

I was taught this style from Ever, he grew up making three inch tops with nails in them for fighting. He cut the wood with a piece of broken glass. The ones he made now he used a knife. The man is amazing.

You guess right Tao. I've had a lot of fun copying all the other top makers and top throwers. They have Tuj Lub fighters and top makers in Merced California. That's about 110 miles from where I live. Next time I'm in Modesto, I will try to link up with them. Also I sent lots of pictures and information to Koma, on how to make there top better.

I took a face cut on my Taiwan, top, and drilled a hole and put the lead in. I cut 1/16 off the top side and a little over an 1/8 on the bottom side. The turned the top to 1.0  1/8 deep for the cord. It plays better and is easier to use.

Was it badly unbalanced before you put the lead?

That is a killer shot!

Yes the top was really bad, and with the body, you had a hard time just to get a sky rocket. This is the style and wood we should be fighting with in U.S.A. These tops sell on ebay for $15.0 and $15.0 for shiping. If they made it like mine it would be a FANTASTIC top to have. I have sent them pictures and videos of this top in action. So far they are not interested. Now I know just what to fix, and the repair would only take half the time. THIS TOP HAS POWER.
