Very smooth Jack, thanks for sharing. What is a O.S.H top? I allways put a piece of cardboard to protect the Monitor. You have great confidence. I would like to see more videos with the big tops. And long line.

Smooth is right!

It is a pity you don't travel: you would be ready to freestyle in a contest! But you may be able to claim that you are the de-facto Canadian champion!  ;)

thank you very much ta0  :o well if the day should come that worlds is held in toronto then id hope to give people a run for their money  ;D as far as canadian champion i fear those fella's in the 3 "canadian style" vids would leave me in their dust lol they look good.

thank you very much sir! that would be a "Q" not an "O" sorry for the typo  ::) haha lol the only thing i know for sure about me throwing a top is that under no curcumstance has it ever gone straight backwards on me ergo: if theres smething i dont want to break.....i put my back to it  ;D ya im gonna try doing more stuff with my 4'' watts tops, the main reson i dont play with them usually is that they weigh soooo much compared to the smaller ones, someday i hope to be able to get my hands on a light-ish large top with a nice playable diabolo style tip but for now my pocketbook is empty (my cellphone broke and i had to buy a new one  :-[ ) lol but heres to the future!  ;D

Very cool!  I love watching your videos.  Someday, I hope to be able to do half of the tricks you do.

If I could make a suggestion, though, about the video....

In this particular one you are wearing dark pants, a black shirt, and a black hat.  You are standing in front of a black TV or computer monitor.  When you are playing with a dark colored top, as in this instance, the top just disappears against all of the dark background.  I'd love to really get to see the top as you manipulate it, but I (as a newbie) find it to be difficult under these circumstances.

My advice is to either wear lighter colored clothing against a lighter background, or use a lighter colored top in front of the darker background.  Contrast is your friend.... ;D

Your play is very smooth. Great job!
I need to start practicing those grind endings.

My suggestion for the next regen to learn: right half-orbits.

Wow Jack, these are awesome! I found myself on YouTube the other night watching several of them in a row  ;D

Some of the moves slightly remind me of offstring yoyoing - have you ever watched any offstring (4A) performances? I bet you could translate some of those moves into your top playing and take it to the next level ;)

I have tried 4A a couple of times, but the yoyo I have for 4A has a relatively small gap and I tend to get discouraged with it.  I recently tried it again and I think this is part of what got me interested in spintops!  I will have to check out some of Mike Durdak's stuff, I do enjoy a good yoyo video :D

Go John Buechele!  That is a LOT of regenerating.

Thanks for the good memories, ta0.  I know John thanks you, too.  He is currently a "stealth" member.  He reads a lot of what's going on but doesn't post much.

It is always a pleasure to watch your progress.
You are the only player who I have seen including drum roll on a freestyle.  :)

On the spinning spiders I think you should go faster to regen.

Thanks for posting.
