Abaca Top
« on: October 22, 2014, 12:17:35 AM »

Found something that might rival the Earl's lug nut covers for unintended spinners. Saw some abaca decorations in a furniture/decor store yesterday.  This one was supposed to be a pear but obviously its shape intrigued me and my wife bought if for me immediately, and it's not even my birthday!  Brought it home and, Voila!, it looks like it was made to spin.  Just abaca cord, nothing inside except the twig it spins on (supposed to be the stem of the "pear").

It spun surprisingly well!
Very nice!

I think many people on this board suffer from a condition that sees tops everywhere. I know I am afflicted by that disease.  :P  ;D
