Cometa fun in Cozumel
« on: October 14, 2014, 07:16:12 PM »

For those inclined to vacation to the south (USA at least) Cozumel looks pretty good.

Love the background.  Yes, it looks like Cozumel is the place to be for a top spinning vacation.  My wife would be happy on the beach and I would be happy by that beautiful wall.

How nice to also see a woman spinner!!!  Thanks johnm

Are you serious? Are you saying that if we have worlds in Cancun or whereabouts you will come? I will quote you on that!

Thanks for your interest, ta0.

"Are you serious? Are you saying that if we have worlds in Cancun or whereabouts you will come?"

I would want to be there.  My wife and her girls would want to be there.  They have already said they would go (that is pretty big).  We might do it whether there are worlds or not.  But the timing is the big issue.  If we have enough lead time we might be able to do it but I cannot promise anything.  It is fun to dream about it, though!!!

Looks like this is my 3999th post.  I have been looking for something exciting to end my run in the 3000s and then something fun for the 4000s.  Then, as I walked through Chipotle for lunch, a woman came by me with a bright shirt with the word "COZUMEL" on it.  It brought back lots of great memories of this forum and possibilities for the future.  I thought that was a good sign!!!

Hugo Joyner's contests
« Reply #9 on: January 11, 2015, 10:32:58 AM »

This is on the other side of Mexico than the previous video, but I am merging it because it is another contest organized by Hugo "slo-mo" Joyner. What both have in common is that he gets many kids to do more advanced tricks than in the normal Cometa contests. He must be a good teacher.
