After the success of the 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 photo contests we will have another one this year. The prizes will be determined at a later day. But the main award is bragging rights and sharing a great photo. To be eligible, the photo needs to be somehow spintop related, taken in 2014, and either taken by a member of the board or featuring a member of the board. If the photographer is not a member the prize goes to the player in the photograph. Otherwise it goes to the photographer. The winner will be selected by a poll on the board. Deadline is December 31, 2014, 23:59:59 GMT-11.

That's it as far as rules. We recommend that those proposing a picture also give them a name/title/caption. This administrator reserves the right to give it a name or caption if none is given

Actually the photo is by Rachel of Kirk.  She is also a forum member (lurker) but if she wins I think she will share the lucrative prize purse 

Charlie Brown is the name of the top made by JohnM. See the stripe. Weighing about 7 pounds, catching it is a significant success.

I was confused because I mistook Kirk for a juggler I know who's name is actually Charlie Brown. I thought the top was selected for that reason. Now it all makes sense. Great photo!
