In the QuickCross there are four horizontal clues and four vertical clues.
Each answer has four letters.  The completed puzzle is a four box by four
box square.

The first one across (on the upper edge) is "pinball alarm"
The second one across is "finished"
The third one across is "book sheet"
The fourth one across (on the lower edge) is "snooty person"

The first one down (on the left edge) is "spinning toys"
The second one down is "tennis pro Lendl"
The third one down is "plastic blocks brand"
And the fourth one down (on the right edge) is "radio button"

Hey! I could do that one! Thanks!

Knowing that legos are not a type of spinning toys helps. Actually if you write tofu on a piece of pager, tilt the page and look over the edge you are likely see the word you are looking for. If you don't, do not treb or be a snob, just deal with it and try harder, as Ivan the Terrible once said. I won't help you anymore with the first down, it is not that difficult . . .

Thanks for the hints, Jorge.

And Catherine, your crossword puzzle was a classic!  There are some on the forum now that have never seen it and might enjoy it.
