I noticed that the "Bucket" sure looks like a Rascal
As you know by now, whip tops come in a great variety of shapes.  The Toy Post shop (UK) sells 14 types.


I know that this would be nothing like the actual Rascals being that they are hollow and metal.  I wonder how hard it would be to turn something like these on a lathe?

Spinningray made a Wooden rASCAL he called Wascal presented in this thread with his approach to holding and turning it. (link = Wascal )
