WOW!  Well done. All were very interesting.  From the title "Let's scramble some eggs:" I was thinking how can the yoke be broken inside the shell because it spins so well.  If the yoke was still whole the balance would not be so good.  When he broke the shell and the egg did not run out it was - why did I not think of that right away, Duh.  Thanks for sharing.

Thinking outside the box for spinning items, I like it.  Dick, you should have labeled your post with *SPOILER ALERT*.  Once I knew the secret, the thrill was gone (as B.B. King would say).  ;)

Well, I am still thrilled that an egg can be wrapped at all!  :o I pride myself on boomeranging anything but I would have said it was almost impossible to put a wrap on an egg (and he does it with ease.)  Now I need to try it!  What about having an egg top battle at worlds?  :D Or, if Don donates some raw eggs we can try one at rit and film it for Jim's contest  ;D  ;D

Who else is going to borrow a kettle lid from the kitchen tonight and try to spin it?

I first thought that on the third video he spun a can, but it actually seems to be a battery.  I wish he had shown how he wraps the cube.

I spun my first egg yesterday!  :)  Or perhaps I should say my second egg, as the first one cracked just from the pressure I was putting on the wrap.  The second egg spun pretty well, but got hairline cracks from hitting the table, so it probably would not have withstood another spin.

Eggs supposedly can work as tippe tops (flip-overs), specially the more asymmetric ones. Something to try.

I can see that to attempt a boomerang I will have to feel like eating 2 or 3 eggs even if I don't succeed (most likely)  ::)

I've got eggs in the fridge - I'll try to remember to hard boil a few too!

Looking forward to the first annual Rochester Top Fest!

One more from Taka and a great example of conservation of the momentum axis:

And one from Gerardo:

Great tricking with a chilacayote (black seed squash)!
He claims he didn't glue the tip. But then I don't understand how it didn't pop out  ???
