one of these days i'll find some and give it a whirl. an to think i lived in Japan before i found tops and i could have bought them for nothing. oh, well.

yeah, it's on [adult swim]. i've been watching the fansubs by dattebayo. just finished season 10 which is from the pendulum series (and not yet aired in the us, sorry if the pic is a bit of a spoiler). i haven't read any of the manga, unfortunately. my other guilty pleasure is "naruto: shippuden". just the anime, not the manga. don't get me wrong, i love reading, but i travel a lot and my laptop goes everywhere so it's easier to watch on the road.

I've got the NOVA special about Darwin on PBS on in the back ground (not the typical NOVA show, sort of a drama about parts of his life) and heard a thump of wood on wood and saw one of his sons launch a spintop on the floor with a camera close-up of the top spinning nicely--nothing special, but a suprise to see.  It's about 45 to 50 minutes into the first part.

I was completely unaware of this Bleach series, but I'll save the picture together with the one from Dragon Tales (we used to watch that one a lot when the kids were small). Sometime in the future we may be able to implement Salvador's idea of a "filmography of the top."
