I loved Maurizio's explanation (in English, starting at 2:24) of why he liked tops.

I had read many theories of where the "diabolo" name came from, but if I understood Renaud correctly, he knows exactly who changed the name from diable (devil) to diabolo.

and I Love Maurizio 's accent when he speaks English

Renaud and Ludo say they are very glad to be able to make a living from this sort of things (diabolos and tops, kites and tops). Maurizio sounds like he could also like that.  But you say that if you made your living from tops "it would be terrible . . . it has to remain poetic . . . it would be too easy"
