Pretty difficult quiz: I cannot answer anyone from the top of my head (perhaps the BC if I thought hard enough).

I have had the idea for a long time of making a similar quiz but with a very large number of spintop questions. Maybe one day . . .

You have got to be kidding.  I had no idea how to play tops until 17 years ago when I started doing the Spintastics "Science of Spin" presentations.  Dale had to start with "wind it tighter" and "hold your hand this way".  I could go look at my BC tops to answer #4.  I have a Duncan deck so I could look that up also.  But no I do not know the answers.  Good questions to research, brought a smile just to think about it.

I think I could answer questions 2, 3 and 4.  I am not sure if I have the Duncan deck (I do have a Mark's personal performer card) to answer #5.

I can give you a possible address for question #1 (1632 Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL), but I don't know if it used to be a hotel.

31 out of 80 total for the deck sound correct.

Q2: Bill Sauey (at least in late 1960's, according to Lucky's book)

Q3: with the "resilient" adjective on the package, 15ct

Q4: Axis, Hip Pocket, Classic

I have my BC tops in the attic or I would post photos.  Maybe somebody else can?  There was also my favorite BC top, the one of colorwood, but I don't recall the name.  And also the one with the dizzy face on the side.

Early Duncan demonstrators?  From Walter Watts we heard the names of Don Winters, Fred Mills and Dwight Paulson.  I don't think Dale Oliver was ever a top spinning demonstrator, although he certainly demonstrates many many yoyos.  Bob Rule has to be one.  And it sounded like Walter was very nearly hired!

I think I am confused.  The second part of question 1 asks for "return top demonstrators".  That is the term that companies other than Duncan had to use for yo-yos during the copyright fight.  Are you asking for top demonstrators or yo-yo demonstrators?  Just want to be clear.  ;)

Wait!  I am still not sure about the six spin top demonstrators.  Plus, you said "at least" so that hints there were more.  I would love to hear a fuller list.
