This is a very tough question to answer.

S8 STB 2.0 is my most consistent top.

Spintastics's Trompo and QSH were the tops I learned on. Dale's patches really motivated me to get better.

S8 STB 2.0 in OWB setup, which recently replaced my previous fave, S8 Giulia (always in OWB)

I used to compete with a Spintastics Hollow Point modded with a YYJ Bulldog cap and my own tip (imagine a smaller Hybrid QuickSilver with the diabolo tip).  It is still my favorite top to use.

that is a very tough ?  i guess i would have to go with my S8 STB 2.0 with a 1 way bearing inside. it plays like a dream. my new soda pop top is right up there with the 2.0 too!

I was messing around with the elevator trick. It is possible with the STB 2.0.

There are some good videos of Gerardo performing it on YouTube.

i would tend to say :
 whatever top is in my pocket at any given date and time ;) ;)
besides STB2 agreed by far////

there is my proud'n'joy:
 the osage-orange giulia (giulia di legno) made by Eric Wolf
it's got the S8 tip/bearing, a very fine weight distribution (heavier than normal)and spins forever with an agile touch
