Happy French Toast Day
« on: November 28, 2012, 06:46:33 AM »

Jim, you might be offended or you might laugh at this.  I certainly hope you will do the later.

Today's paper is highlighting national French toast day!

Yes, November 28th celebrates the staple of every good brunch.  You may have a difficult time finding restaurants other than breakfast spots serving it today, but luckily it's not terribly difficult to make.

The batter allows for creativity.

For best results in making French toast, use thick slices of bread.

Trim the bread into shapes of your favorite tops and we might be able to move this out of the NSTR section.

hi folks hi Mike
you allow me a game of wits I always enjoy :)

I knew the french kiss
the french chalk
and also the french letter (condom)
now if you took  a french bean which is a 'haricot", painted it in french grey (bluish grey) and then tried to play the french horn with it , you would have to be put on french leave

i suggest your butter you french toast with Normandy butter and add a
layer of homemade jam: if all goes well you might get frenchified ;) ;) ;)
