thanx mike for the fun
it could also work like that :
“I moved to France for the health care and stayed for the smoking"
in fact : smoking has been forbidden everywhere for some years now
now if we talk of reefer : it's widely available if one knows where to game 8)

I have read several places about smoking being banned from the restaurants and the bars.  The comments are usually like "how can Paris ever be Paris again".

In your opinion has Paris changed much with the smoking ban?

not at all : cafés are still packed , people smoke outside , that's fine
only in train stations you may occasionally find a rebel smoker ..but never in a bus or a public building

i'm on to an italian café tonite for the semi finals
i have to go !

;D The quote was pretty funny.

For my taste, French still smoke too much. On this I prefer Americans.
