I have been to two woodworking shows and saw this guy, WHAT A HOOT!!!!!!!!!!!  He did not do the turning on the car drive wheel  But he was very funny as he talked about turning and bending wood and being from Canada.

But I don't think it is actually a 150 HP lathe. He lifted the car with a forklift so I imagine the second front wheel is in the air. So the axle differential will be sending most of the power to the other wheel when he presses with the gouge. On the other hand, if the other wheel is resting on something, each time the tool grabs the car would have a tendency to plunge forward. Not even a frozen Canadian can be that crazy!
