Freestyle Patch

There she is. My freestyle video. It is not very good, but I think it will pass.

I decided to throw to a target because I have not seen anyone start that way on a video.

Great freestyle Justin! Very well deserved freestyle patch!

It would have been cool if you had replaced the new TV for the old TV with the spintop-broken screen . . . . to show your commitment to the sport  >:D

I did think about doing that, but I was the only one home and I didn't want to risk dropping the new whilst switching them. The TV is also the main reason I went to the frisbee on the floor instead of the one-handed trapeze. I was going to film outside, but it was so windy that my top was actually being affected in flight...that means the string was REALLY all over the place.

Yeah, I love that song (the original). If I remember correctly, Steam Powered Airplane (a local Jackson Hole/Bozeman band), chose their name because of that song. They were very good live. Upright Bass. Sweet harmonies. Blistering banjo leads. The fiddle player had the voice of a siren and the mandolin player sang to please the heavens. I really miss that band.

I enjoyed the video and the music.  We have some serious bluegrass players in our congregation and they might not appreciate your top efforts but they would love the music.....especially that mandolin!

Congrats on your new patch.  You have worked hard to earn it.  You truly deserve it!!!  A broken tv screen in the background would have been hilarious, though.  And my personal hope was that you might have figured out how to incorporate a throwing knife into the mix.......but that might be going "over the top" and (as we all know) that is another video.

super Justin !!

you have a great freestyle here !
possible improvements besides the play

look more at the camera
try to insert a few "stand stills" :
outcome will be visibility , applaud on stage, plus :: regain your breath while your body posture straightens up and then you exhale the air, take a deep breath again and go for a second part

you should get a patch in fabric from Dale :D

although you got all the tricks into one combo, the first half of it was kinda sloppy. with some practice your combo might look better.

Haha, Topper is just grumpy that I am costing him money because he let his strong desire for the throwback known publicly. I don't even want the thing, I just can't stop bidding.

I just watched it again and I totally agree. I am not very coordinated and it is clear that I did not have a plan for the tricks I would do. Also, my dvd's are unorganized and I forgot to hide my surge protector behind the tv...and seriously, who wears socks with crocs?!
