My plans for the weekend include a drive to Madfest.  Chad will be attending as well.

Wonder how it all went.  I am getting tired and just might have to hit the hay.  Maybe I will hear about how Madfest was tomorrow?

I made it to Madfest. Mark, Rick, and Chad also attended. Mark had this cool hand cranked, gear driven, cam activated, lever flipping, wire pinging sculpture. Chad had this weird mind controlled spinning board thing. Rick taught me a really cool spin top trick. I showed off the smoothest playing wooden lignum vitae yo-yo I have ever made.
There was no top battling, but lots of top spinning.
Sarah Sparkles was absolutely hypnotic. Andrea Noel & James Sundquist stole the show. Mark got married to some young lady on stage.
The auditorium is going to be remodeled so the show will be held elsewhere next year.

It was necessary for Mark to be married to his audience assistant for the trick he performed. He divorced her when the trick was over, but she got to keep the candy ring and the memories.

Hopefully, Mark will post a video of his sculpture.

As Mark was the emcee for the big public show, he was quite busy over the weekend and we didn't see him spin much.  His art piece (as described by Alan) was really interesting and creative.

Thanks for getting us the article Rick.  There are a lot of good messages in there.
It is very heartwarming to read of the obstacles overcome by Kit Summers.
