I went to his website and found another one.....this is an installation he did at the Venice Biennale art show.....I believe the same show Alan's giant tops with buildings were at..........

Has anyone noticed that on the Macchina Botanica at 1:25 the upper ball starts before it is hit?  ??? I imagine the vibrations of the board got it going.

I have been thinking about a spintop version. Very difficult, but perhaps not impossible . . .
