Ahhh. My oldest son Ben is finally married. All my boys are now married. Next up will be two step daughters.
It was a nice wedding and a great reception. When the parents came down the aisle to "The Rainbow Connection" I could not keep the tears back. This was a song I played on the piano for the boys when they were little and we used to sing it all the time. Now my first born was using it in his wedding with words like "someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me." After a long long trek, my little Ben finally found his rainbow connection.
At the reception I once again was able to talk with Chico's physics man, Chris Gaffney. I gave him two tops to take home and showed him my pool ball top with the number one on it. With his new spinning items I included a card with itopspin.com on it along with topspinning.com. I also told him how to get to the thread about him on this forum. We talked one more time about the highly respected postion that tops and their spinning have in the world of physics. "It is a long, rich tradition" he added.
His last words to me were "See you in Chico!"
