Perhaps these wheels, called "roue Cyr", get you the closest to feeling like a top:

Looks like fun. But considering that doing the trick Wheel of Fortune (bastones) gets me dizzy, I don't know if it would be a good idea.
Also, the fingers seem to be at risk. Perhaps they should make one with two concentric rings to put the fingers in between.

wow, Wow, WOW!!! That looks pretty cool but I wonder how many times he pinched his fingers during training.
Very impressive. It must be a lot of work. Did you see the drop of sweat on the end of his nose after his routine?

Man, I've seen quite a few people work with this prop, this guy is one of the best I've seen. Very impressive.
