Registration of new members

I finally gave up. We are receiving a tsunami of registration attempts by spammers. So I have blocked registration.  To become a member you need to send me an email mentioning what this board is about and I will manually register you. It's also a good idea that you tell me what user name you want. Send the email to:

don't you use a cryptic message to reproduce on the keyboard twice ,
when you register??

To register you had to reproduce one camouflaged word. I believe the spammers are not bots but spammer farms. I can put more hoops for them to go through and also automatically filter using an online database of spammers, but right now I want to take break from wasting time with them.  I may implement something like that in the future.

I had the same problem and I had to take the same resolution in the spanish phorum.
