I really hope you make it John!!!

By the way, to compete in spinning tops you do not have to be pre-registered as in yo-yos (but if you pre-register, you help us).

Val and Dale Oliver confirmed that they are coming to Worlds. He is the only person who has attended every yo-yo world contest since its inception in 1992 (the world spintop contest part started in 2000.)  Rick Osbourne also wrote he will be stopping by (probably just Saturday). Taka is competing on AP so he will be there for sure

I pointed Dale to the regenerating corkscrew thread and he wrote: "I may have to hang up my top and really retire."

I can't make it. I'm going to my grandmother's 100th birthday party in Idaho. I would take it as a personal favor if someone is able to make Mike Hout cry on stage during the contest.

Just the thought of you with your 100 year old grandma will make me cry on stage and anywhere!

I would take it as a personal favor if someone is able to make Mark Hayward cry about not being at worlds this year.
