I confess I did not follow the Beyblade fad or product line, but I am sure this is just a Chinese knock off and there must have been a similar version available from Beyblade. It did work, although not as spectacularly as on that video. And it did not last long: I stripped the ripcords on the first day!
I guess they copied everything except the quality
It has been sitting in a box since then and now the top probably needs a new rechargeable battery.
My mind explodes with the possibilities for adaptation to our tops!
Yeah, an RC top sounds very intriguing! If you make one, the tip should be fixed and not too pointy: to work it needs to apply torque to the ground.
