And we thought Mike was unique?

Maybe we need to check out our nearest Lutheran Church and see what other oddities are out there!

St. Luke's Bottle Band, St. Luke's Lutheran Church , Park Ridge , Illinois

Mike - perhaps you should invite these guys to this year's Top Fest...... maybe a session of "Spin The Bottle"???? 8)

These guys (and gals) are tremendous.  They are fun to listen to and fun to watch.  I never fail to be amazed at their creativity.

I have known about this group for years but silvertop's post got me to looking around to find out some of of this group.  They are from Park Ridge, Illinois....not too far from the Chicago O'Hare airport.  The bottle band has been in existence for 31 years (wow, I had no idea) and they have raised over $200,000 for charities.  They have been featured on a number of shows including NPR and have 26 video clips out there in cyberspace.

Yes, I would love to have them for our top festival.  I also would love to visit their congregation.  They are, indeed, some of my brother and sister Lutherans!
Happiness runs in a circular motion!!!
