That trick we call it "Barrel Rolls". It seems the movement was invented in the US but after it was exported to Mexico they discovered that it could be made to regenerate the spin indefinitely. They call them "atomos."
It is not too difficult to do with a bearing and with a 1wb it will regenerate easily. To regenerate with a fixed tip is considerably more difficult. I guess we need to make a tutorial. But you should find more videos under those names.
EDIT:
You may want to try the "Tico" Barrel Rolls first (Tico means from Costa Rica). In that version you just do half of it: only the dominant hand (which is holding the ends of the loop) goes under the tip. The Tico Barrel Rolls do regenerate and are easier to do.
