The weirdest thing happened to me on Sunday morning during worship. We were singing the hymn "Lord Of All Hopefulness" and suddenly in verse 2 some words caught my attention. I have been singing these words for years but they never hit me like this before.............."Lord of all eagerness, Lord of all faith, whose strong hands were skilled at the plane and the lathe, be there at our labours, and give us, we pray, your strength in our hearts, Lord, at the noon of the day."
Thought you woodturners would get a kick out of this hymn that highlights your skills at the plane and the lathe!
I think this will work out nicely when we have our top spinning worship service.......along with "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", "To Everything Turn, Turn, Turn" and a newer hymn "For The World Is About To Turn".
