Atelier de Neff
« on: December 20, 2010, 11:31:51 PM »

So, I've started a weekly skill toy workshop in Columbia, Missouri; based out of the store that the Duncan Crew visited when they were here.  The name of the shop is Cool Stuff.  I've held three practice sessions this past month and I think I've finally figured out how I am going to run things.  It will mainly be a yo-yo workshop, but there is already demand to learn top tricks... meet Kayla!

that is great news. are you going to franchise your program or just
drive your Columbia group ahead to world dominance?
the reason i ask is because there isn't much info out on starting yo-yo clubs and i'd be real interested in hearing more about how you structure it.

k-k-k-Kayla.  k-k-k- Kayla.  You're the only g-g-g-girl that I adore.

Wait, that should be Katy.  And it is from way back in the first World War.  Sorry, that was a flash back......back to 35 years before I was born!  Still, it was a fun song.

I'm anxious to hear how you work your club, Neff.  I have been trying to get more yo-yoing going in our area for years and can't seem to get it off the ground.  I have had a little success with juggling and our unicycle group has been active for years but now both of them are slowing down.

Good luck with your club!

And before any of you ask, I was not hunting wabbits.

RRRRRR I was just typing the duck season line and I checked to see if anyone had posted anything since I started writing and you'd beaten me to it.

I searched "atelier de neff" in a translator from French to English. It translated to "workshop Nerve" I wasn't expecting "neff" to translate to anything, but apparently it means nerve. Is this right, or do I have a crappy translator?

that's because in french spell check, Neff is changed to Nerve, instead of Nerf.
