Giant tops by the sea?
« on: November 18, 2010, 09:46:16 AM »

From Flickr another fabulous top (?) sculpture:

I feel the urge to get a crane and spin these guys!

It is in Indautxu, Bilbao, Basque Country (north of Spain).  Are they tops or are they buoys?  A sculpture made out to look like both tops and buoys? This is a town by the sea in Ziba (spintop in Basque) country.

I was very close to this place on my Eurotop tour a couple of years ago. I would have definitely gone there if I had known.  :(
