From our friends at Grand Illusions:

I don't know if there is a US retailer. I checked The Color of Life but unfortunately the website is gone  :(

Awesome!  That's got my magnetic Swirlaround beat all to heck, but I bet the Swirlaround was cheaper!

They have added the classical snake. I like the dual action on the new video where the spiral and the snake spin together.

While wandering through Milan, Italy I came upon a toy store that had some magnetic tops and the purchase included two of the classic snakes.  Finally, a good top find.  We have been covering a lot of ground but the tops have not been popping up (by the way, where is poptop?).

What I got is a little like this but less expensively made and made out of metal.

(After posting this, I see it is the same video as the one used to start this thread.  Sorry!)

Good find!
I have started my trip myself. I'm at the Denver airport right now. Tomorrow I will be meeting Lourens in Hoorn  :)

Hope you are able to find more tops than we have.  All over Venice we have walked and have not seen anything remotely like a top.  We did see some Legos in toy stores and could have probably made some but that is the closest we have come to finger spinners or peg tops.

It has been very hot here and tomorrow we go to Florence where it is supposed to have a high of 103 degrees.  I have a feeling we will be ready for Iceland very soon!!!

I did find this video that ties in with this thread.....
