So this is number 18.  4" wide, 5-3/4" tall, 333 grams. Cherry, Plywood, & MDF with a lacquer finish and a HDPE tip with steel reinforcing bolt.  Comes with sash cord.

I like everything about this top except for the weight.  It behaves well in regenerations, it's just not as nimble as I wanted, so somebody else may as well have it!

I'm asking for $75 without shipping.

Another beauty Chris!

Have you gotten up yet???

Somebody, let him know about this post.

lincolnrick

Huh?  What???  I'm up and actually at work *sssshhhh*

Very cool idea about the reinforcing bolt Chris well done!  And this one is a beaut!  With used plastic from a nuclear plant, well what could possible go wrong?

If you promise to put the sale price towards a four jaw chuck, I think we may have a deal.

(I have a 4" plywood from Alan that I play a lot with, I'll have to see what it weights)

That's certainly a beauty.  I'm sure lincolnrick would give it a good home and lots of attention!

The money would go straight to www.pennstateind.com!  I bet your Gray will weigh at least 100g less.  She's a bit hefty, so I don't mind if you pass on this at all.  Perhaps some video of it in action would help...

That top looks pretty nimble to me Chris.

Watts 4" (solid basswod)- 230some grams
Alans 4" (hollowed plywood) - 300 grams

#18 doesn't seem like it would be that much different.

sent you a PM.  Mark that bad boy sold.

poptop

Right on Rick.

No. 18 has arrived safe and sound at it's new home.  It's a beaut.  Thanks Chris, I've now got my first 'Neff' top.

Watts' Tops

Beautiful top.  I feel honored to have it compared in weight to a Watts' Top. :)
