True that!  Now that I reorganized my garage to make room for my Vespa, I can actually get at my lathe that's just been sitting.  Maybe one day I'll be able to make some sweet tops like those.

Beautiful Jim.
How did you make the dark rings?
Are they burnt in?

The tank is clean folks!!! It housed a leopard gecko for the last 6 years till the thing finally croaked.  And no, the doesn't smell like lizard poo, or cheese.

SQ - when we meet at nationals (you're goin', right?), I will have a top for you.  It's already made, it's a 2-1/2" cherry-top punk.  Just tell me what you want to smell like now so I can start building the appropriate smell chamber.

Seems like Neff might have a ghost top in that tank.......a gecko ghost top.  Be careful with what he gives you, Spinqueen.  You never know what might be lurking behind his tops!

I am celebrating another parade ride on my six foot unicycle.  I never know when it will be my last.  It feels good right now, though, and I am glowing after the two mile ride.  Hope everyone had a good Labor Day!!!

I'd like it to smell like a new car, but if you can't swing that, chocolate and coffee will do   ;D

This shows where I was on Labor Day morning.  www.daytondailynews.com has a bunch of pictures from the Holiday at Home parade.  It is in the upper left of that page.  I am #42 in a series of eighty some pictures.

Eight years later and I happened upon this "Seinfeld type" thread where everyone is talking about nothing in particular.....just what they are doing.  I tried looking up a picture from the parade that I was in but it seems to be nowhere to be found.  I did, however, find a couple of other photos on the Holiday at Home gallery.  I am on page two with one of the pictures especially good of my wife riding a high wheel bike with my legs in the foreground.

See if this works (by the way-eight years later I am still talking about this being the end of the line for my unicycle riding):
