I am trying to think of an excuse to make this thread spintop relevant  ???  ::)

Um, how about a NSTR section....??????

I hear you, so let's the people vote.

My concern about having too many boards is that it makes the forum more awkward and breaks the sense of conversation. Intellectually, I would like to divide the board in a lot of sub-boards and have everything cataloged, as Pulp has done with his. But I have resisted the temptation. On the other hand, Poptop and others were right in asking for a sales-trades board, so I may be wrong again. In addition, I have pushed for (but not enforced) a spintop only board to not dilute the main subject that unites us.  But, in reality, you can just add a token link to tops and talk about anything.

I've voted, but I'd like to ask something about the board.

There are many threads in here that I see and would like to go back to in the future and reference.  I'd like to mark them as 'favorites' or saved in 'My favorite threads'.  The thread with Neffs video submission to Spintastics for his patches is an example.  Lots of gems are buried inside threads.

Can we have a personal 'favorite threads'?

the title confused me because in the military NSTR means "nothing significant to report". i thought, "how can you have a board where there is nothing to discuss?!"

look, i just went off topic!

I think this forum is priceless, because everyone here is full of trompo knowledge, you can ask any spin top related question and get a experience answer, from different people
I think there is a forum for almost anything out there, but when you google search spintops ta0 is at the very top of the list
Really, thanks to this forum im able to progress and advance with my trompo skills, weather is with videos or reading, i think is great and again priceless
My personal opinion, as long as we dont stop talking about trompos im happy :), regardless of whatever else off topic anybody might decide to talk about

I favor a NSTR.  Might encourage some folks to post more, and bring our family to new depths.  This causes difficulty for moderators, like what if there is another argument about guns?  I guess we could have a "no argument" policy.

In response to yocephus I am posting a link to a song done by my middle son's band.  Their band name is Hotpipes and the song title is "The Future is Where We Belong"........oh oh!  I see I cannot do that off my portable phone.  I will add the link later.

Here it is.  My son is on the drums...........
