Several times I have looked up about "cramp-shoes."  I am still unsure about what exactly you mean.

Everybody around these parts are talking about football and the end of the baseball season.  No one seems to know anything about rugby.  Thanks for your highlights.

Without knowing anything about Fiji's team (or any rugby team) I think Uruguay will start with a win  ;)

very well ...  ???

in their 1st match , Fiji lost 21-39 against Australia : they have  a strong team !

go Uruguay ! go ! Felipe Berchesi (fly-half who plays in France) will lead the attack

I didn't want to underestimate Fiji, but it's very uncommon for Uruguay to play against a smaller country . . .

Well, Uruguay beat Fiji, but barely  . . . I should have been less sure in my prediction.

I just saw that going into the tournament, Fiji was ranked 10th in the world while Uruguay was 19th.
France was 7th and USA 13th. They play against each other October 2nd. Uruguay will not play them unless it qualifies first or second on its group, what is very difficult.
I don't know how the Uruguayan team, the Teros, is as good as it is: rugby is only played in about 4 high schools in the more affluent neighborhoods of Montevideo, a rich boys game. The reverse of soccer which is played by every kid over there.

I suspect that if the best NFL players trained for just few months with the rugby rules, they would be competitive to win it all.  ::)

I do not think there are many in the US (or the world) interested in All Saints Day.  It is interesting that you mention it.  But, maybe it is a day off work for some in your area?
