Title: exhibit (artsy girl)
Post by: jim in paris on April 07, 2015, 12:03:38 AM
hi all
one of my dear daughters exhibits her works for the first time
it's an interactive costume with captors which react according to light ,heat , humidity , etc
it makes the costume change color with leds sewed in the cloth...;

Hey, Nancy looks like a heroine from a sci-fi film!  ;)

Congratulations on her first exhibit! Electronic and interactive art are the future.
Not only artsy but with technical brains: dad must be proud!

PS: Talking about science fiction: have you read The Immune from Doc Lucky? It is not bad. There is only one small reference to yo-yos (but lots about swimming). I'll send you my copy if you are interested.

She looks awesome! I would love to see more of her work.

Also, I added "The Immune" to my Goodreads list. Thanks for the recommendation ta0.

With the risk fueling your fire, Jack, it is my duty to inform you that she has a twin sister. And they are tall.  ;)

She/they have grown nicely since 2007 when I saw them!

Hope the exhibition goes well.  Wish I could see it in person.

With several members of the board getting pacemakers lately, there should be a warning on the subject of the thread . . . I mean, those electronic outfits could create a heart problem for these electro-receptive people  :P :P :P

Congrats again! If one day she becomes a famous Parisian designer, I already have her dad's autograph!  ;)
