Hi guys, few days ago, I got an idea of a new trick and made it real. I haven't seen anyone doing this, so I named it, To hell and back, hope that I'm first one doing this :D It's a simple combination of two ways wirewalker and staircase to heaven, enjoy. :)
Spintop trick - To hell and back on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/79398444)

Bravo Daniel!
I am pretty sure that trick is new. That is a great name: going down to hell and then returning using the staircase to heaven.
The string setup looks very similar to the Cobra Maya (Mayan corkscrew) invented by Carlos Solis. But on that trick the top walks in the reverse direction: goes down the corkscrew and then goes up the short circuit (2 wire walker) back to the starting hand.

Very cool!

Fantastic looking trick. I like the name.
-
I like it. Too bad I'll probably never be able to do it.

Great trick!

Fantastic Daniel , very very good

Sweet trick!

That is a very nice trick.

I know the feeling. I thought I would never get consistent at even a wire walker. In the past few days I have nearly mastered El Raton Loco (Crazy Mouse is a MUCH better name than Short Circuit IMHO), Wire walk in both directions and as of today I can get my wire walkers to go up hill.
Now I wonder what the problem was.
Keep working on small improvements.
Too bad I'll probably never learn to regen :)

PS Some of the blame for my improvement is Neff teaching me to balance a top.

Thanks a lot guys, your words are my motivation for learning new tricks.
ta0: Thanks for editing the first post, I still don't know how to add video from Vimeo to post. :D I've never heard about Cobra Maya, I'll try to learn it, sounds like a very nice trick, but I still have troubles with fixed tip corkscrews, the top always spins too fast. :D
YodaGuy5: Don't say that. When you learn Staircase to Heaven, it's just small step to master this trick. :)

It is quite impressive, Hrosik. And..........it is fun to watch! Good work.

I know I recorded Gus doing the Cobra Maya but I cannot find the trick on my uploads.
To post vimeo or youtube videos use "http://" not "https://" on the address (I should fix this, but everything takes time ::) )

that is truly impressive

Argh! I decided to practice this trick today. I think I am doing it correctly, but the video was blocked by vimeo for copyright infringement. >:(
Can you re-post it, Daniel?

Yeah, sure, here's the link:

Great job!! Clean execution and a lot of spin after the trick too, that's important.
