Bigger is better...

I couldn't agree more!   ;D ;D ;D

I present, for your viewing pleasure, "Titti Molto Grande"
4 1/8" in diameter, 5 1/4" tall, 199 grams (7 oz.).  The top section is Purpleheart and the bottom is Osage Orange.  The tip is convertible Bearing/fixed, with .250" x .500" YYF CBC bearings, and Delrin tip.  It plays sweetly......

Here is the comparison shot with the original Titti, Titti Grande, and Titti Molto Grande.....

Yeah, BIG Titi! Wow!

You are raising the bar so high that is difficult to challenge you. So, here is something different. At Flatlands we discussed the possibility of making a skittles game using a pinball machine layout, with real bumpers, etc.  If you made one and brought it to worlds . . .  ;) Even if you don't, I am eager to meet Molto Grande Titi and the rest of the family!

Stupendous, Eric!
Now those curves are beginning to match those of the Original Sophia!   ;D

Super job!  Perhaps our challenges are getting too easy for you.  You have suggested in the past that your lathe's capacity is at least 15 inches:

PS: I have rings cut for a 15" Bubinga wood hollow top that have been sitting around for a year; this has inspired me to finish it.
So maybe a gigantic + enormous = GINORMOUS Titti Grande? :o 8) ;D

BELLISSIMA !

that's a big baby !

because of her Italian ancestry it makes me think of the Ducati line of motorcycles
in the 70ties they used to have only the 350 and 500
one day they jumped to the Ducati Monstro 900cc !

great work , Eric ....
the woods melt into each other beautifully!

So nice.  Yours seem to have far fewer glue, cracks, nails and tool marks than mine...

Thanks for the inspiration.
