It seemed like things were really whirling. My spinning world was picking up. Life was full of things going round and round. Then I read in the paper that I have been downgraded!!! It does not feel good. It just does not seem right. I was once a hurricane. Now the paper says I have "deteriorated into a weak tropical storm."
What? Deteriorated!? Weak!? I know I am getting older but I do not appreciate people using these kind of words about me.
The article ends with even worse news. Earl is "expected to continue weakening."

Sorry to hear of your ongoing decline, Earl.
But you still have a chance to make a big difference in people's lives. Just hop the next westerly low-level jet back to the Gulf Stream, pick up as much steam as you can, and come back in swinging! That'll teach 'em some respect.

I like the idea and opportunity to come back swinging. I will check into that trip to the Gulf Stream, since I definitely want to teach them some respect!!!
