my annoying ripcord

i know your tired of hearing about my ripcord, but when i trie to spin it goes crazy or lands sideways. its getting so annoying!  >:(

no but i didnt think thats the reason. its 50 inches. but i think if i get a 62 inch ill have to hold at my head to drop it! :P

Trust us; that is too short a string for the Ripcord, unless you use a very thick string. Try to throw almost level, instead of down, and you will be able to throw with much longer string than you think. When you get to trapeze you can throw side mount instead of the straight down.

If you can, get a Spintastics Sidewinder as they are more forgiving on the throw. Or if you find a YYJ Bulldog somewhere, those can use short strings.

If the top land pointed to you, you can try to throw it in the way the tip point back you 45º.

it depends. are you looking for a fixed or a bearing tip?

personally, i started with bearing tricks (on a bearing king) but since i got my ripcord i haven't put it down. BTW, it's true about the string being too short. i just measured the string that came with mine at 52"...way too short. i have to adjust my throw by tilting to get a vertical boomerang. but, i'm too cheap to buy strings so i deal with it.

one of these days i'll get a spintastics top. i hope they have some at worlds...
