This is beginning to sound like a rivalry with Flatlands for highest attendance. 8)
Mike how big is that grassy area shown here from 2007 with Matt Ritter and ????

We'd be right at home there if that's a short dumpster behind ?Apex?
It will be awesome to meet some people on the forum!
It's not very big, but big enough to juggle with about another of people freely.

Yes, the dumpster is still there.  It is home away from home for the Cincy group!

The green space was a gift from the city when they tore a house down that used to occupy the area.  We already had been using the parking lot to the right of that picture for our top battles.  The space is not super large but bigger than one might think as it is something like 15 yards wide and 35 yards long.  Plenty of space for plenty of top spinners.

Looking closer at the picture, that is a young John Buechele (who could barely do a series of roller coasters at the time) to the left.  Going to the right from there we have Matt Ritter (Tallahassee), Matt Byam, an unknown woman in white taking pictures from the dumpster followed by Alex Ayers and Chris O'Neill from the Louisville, Kentucky area.

I heard that the link I put up earlier didn't work too well.  So I fixed it and thought I should post that here so anyone interested could check it out.

Thanks in advance for visiting!

I am sitting at Bullwinkle's TOP Hat Bistro with my new phone dreaming of a large contingent coming here for a meal on the 28th before retiring to the Top Spinning Hall of Fame.  I have asked if they could get Toupie wine before then and they are going to check into it.  I also stopped at the local wine shop and asked them if they could get it.  We will see.

I hope my plan to attend is not foiled by my wife playing the "card of unknown" on me again this year.  It seems as if there will be a lot of people to learn from.

-sidenote to Mike-
I told my wife that there was a guided tour of a museum, so I may need you to pull through on this one!   :o

Dear hemingsoft,

There will indeed be a guided tour of the Hall of Fame.  And, just to let your wife know how important that day it, the Hall of Fame will only be open that day during the busy month of August!!!

From my experience of wives, you might want to find out in advance if the Top Spinning Hall of Fame is what she has in mind... otherwise there could be trouble.

According to the formulations of game theory, I have concluded that the "best" result (closest to what I want to do with the least repercussions  :o) should be obtained from not alluding that this is a top museum, guided by the one and only Mike Hout.

As JohnM pointed out to me,  forgiveness is usually easier than permission when it comes to my wife.

Oh the sacrifices I must make for tops!   ;D
