Are there reported injuries from too much practicing spin tops? Maybe from making some avoidable mistakes?
I don't mean accidents where the top hits some part of the body or things like sore fingers from the winding the string, more like pain in the elbow and the index finger of the throw hand ....
...... maybe it will just go away.

I have had a sore shoulder in the past. Only once it got pretty bad because I wanted to record a freestyle video and I continued pushing it. But injuries from training are uncommon, I think.

Because of too much practice, I required surgery of my knee before the world contest this year.

My shoulder was hurting pretty bad last month. I started throwing left handed just to let my shoulder rest!

Every body has other weak spots I guess.

Shoulder seems common, if I remember correctly Gus also reported some shoulder problem in Marines almost two years ago.

For most players and also for myself I can't see the knee being a serious problem in spitop practice, but Jun, you do some things really different and I would get pain in many body parts only imagining doing some of the things you make look easy.

For me it seems to be the elbow and the index finger that don't want to get over exercised. I also practice a bit more with the other hand these days (the "other hand" being the right one for me as a lefty). I need to be able to throw a decent boomerang with the right  hand anyways for a specific combo I hope to be able to do one day: wirewalker, catch, snapstart with the opposite spin direction, regeneration, gyroscopic flop.  All that with a top with an one-way-bearing.
