I like Dionisia A LOT!
It feels just right everything just spot on.

The shape just too extreme for me.

String sometimes into the groove especially when drumbeat.
Which is sometimes good to make me more accurate when doing tricks.
But again sometimes I look into the groove and I want to place the string into it when doing tricks.

I confuse...

Dionisia looks like made from some crazy scientist that love to machining a spintop by itself and then people love to play with it.
Is MrYo some kind of crazy scientist? Just kidding guys...

How is it compare to sofia? I dont have sofia. Sofia looks more normal then.

I know Augusta is a different beast but I wish I have Spintop that have Augusta shape with Dionisia feels.
Augusta feels great too and I have nothing to worry about.

Rosalinda looks exactly like Yoyojam spintop in the past, I dont have it And I am not really excited about it.
Must be like any other top in the market but player can change the type of the tip.
Must be usefull for some people that more familiar into it just not me.

Elisabetta...
I need more time to think about all the dreamcather series.
For real Strummol8 have a series!

I choose OWB any other day.
Seriously OWB must be the standard rather than just regular bearing.

Resistance?
Just throw harder must be enough.

Have a nice day guys!

I'm sure many people will agree with you, maybe you are right, who knows?

Anyway, thank you for your "review", the idea of Dreamcatchers line is born an year before Covid but i had the time to refine the poject on lock down. Dreamcatchers is a reserach on the possible shapes, Augusta and Dionisia have the same outline, Rosalinda is the reverse of them and Elisabetta heght is half of the other with the same cap and diameter.
First I looked for the "beauty" of the lines, after i work into the balance of every top and this makes every top playable but with different feeling for each one.

BTW the new Alice has his MrYo as Mad Hatter :)

ajerichos

Exactly!
Dionisia definitely sexier than Sofia!

For now just use dionisia when doing this and use augusta when doing that.

That aluminum spacer please just put OWB as a standard.

Any mods out there to make OWB spin more freely?

the Alice tip looks great!
Strummol8 Large tip with full delrin body must be durable for years.

I trashed my STB 2.5 (B Grade!) with large tip for over a year now and im sure Alice better than STB.
by the way, whats the story behind B grade tip?
Tip at the B grade is different right?

MrYo

In STB the b-grade is the body, the holes for the bearing are too big so the bearing isn't fixed as it must be.

No I mean the tip itself.
i can't pull the bearing at B-grade tip.
Bearing at b-grade unremovable?

MrYo

Ahh! Yes, i had some tips b-grade too, instead of  send them back to the machinist I used them for the STB.

Before Dionisia, there was Sophia and before Sophia there was Titi:

It is my understanding that Maurizio wanted to start a yo-yo company but decided first to produce some spintops to get experience manufacturing.   I believe Titi was inspired by yo-yo cad drawings he had already made.

Fortunately for us, Maurizio stayed with spintops although when he started he was a yo-yo player, not a spintop player. The name Strummol8 references tops, so I guess he took the decision early on.
