I can't believe that Braham is onlt 9 years old. When I was 9 years old, I couldn't do a corkscrew :'(

The judges had a tough time. In open, each of the first 3 players got 1st place from 2 judges, and the 4th player got 1st from the remaining judge (on the zoom I said that Kanta got 3 first places, that was wrong).
A different combination of judges would have given a different result. It's difficult to compare the routines when the styles of play are different.

When Xisco filmed this there was searing heat and high humidity in Mallorca. Changes the string in the middle without stopping the flow of the routine.



The cowgirl did it! There is a newspaper photo of Val (I need to find it) when she was around 5 years old, competing in a spintop contest. Six decades later, she becomes world champion! 



The song in Spanish says: "el mariachi loco quiere bailar" = "the crazy mariachi wants to dance ". I don't know how he can dance while playing tops, for me it's impossible.

  I've seen that picture a million times but I never knew it was Val! I remember it being the only picture of a girl I could find participating in one of Duncan's spintop contests.

the award ceremony has been a real success
what an improvement compared to the previous years
it was fun to watch , concise , with enough time for comments and exchanges
you have done an incredible work upstream by editing the videos
and it makes a huge difference !     Bravo !!
about the results, I believe they are fair : in traditional , woman , and youth division
 the winners are totally / quite obvious ,
in open division , as you pointed out , it is very tight
I personally would have put the four top players in a different order,
however there were 7 judges of high quality and integrity
and their decision is above any comment.
