We have 75 competitors registered so far. I finally updated the list on the website (I included the Spanish players who told me they were competing and paid me the fee in person in Mallorca, but I'm not 100% sure which division(s) they are entering.)
Most players are either from Japan and Colombia. The other countries represented are: USA, Mexico, Canada, France and Italy.

Only 1 week left to submit your videos!

We decided to extend the registration so you can still enter the contest, if you wish. But you still need to submit your video by midnight, Sunday the 20th.

The deadline to submit videos is tomorrow midnight.
So far we have received 37 videos.

It's 43 videos so far. Many are really entertaining and you'll love them.

De mi colegio se animaron dos niños,  estàn empezando en los trucos de trompo pero su motivaciòn hizo que se decidieran a enviar su video, lo importante es participar,  uno de ellos es un niño que le dan ataques de epilepsia y el tema del trompo lo ha mantenido muy emocionado y entretenido a punto que los ataques han disminuido un poco en su frecuencia.

We received 66 videos from 8 countries. This is going to be another great contest!

I need to check with everybody who registered to see if I missed any notifications of video uploads. I will try to have all the links to the videos on the website by tomorrow so you can all watch them, enjoy them and guess who will be the winners.

The results will be announced during award ceremony that will take place on Sunday December 4th at 14:00 UTC (6:00 Los Angeles, 8:00 Mexico City, 9:00 Bogota, 15:00 Paris, 23:00 Tokyo). The link to the Zoom meeting will be posted on the ITSA website and also announced here. There will also probably be a simultaneous Youtube webcast. (Note that in some place I wrote Saturday the 4th: that was a typo, it's a Sunday).

Japan has by far the most routines (thanks to the chonkakegoma club) with 43, followed by Colombia with 12.

If you find any errors (e.g. the wrong video is linked to a player), please send me a pm.

There are some great freestyles there. Some quite creative and fun. I saw a couple of revelations: one is a player who improved a lot since last year and another is player who hadn't competed until now in tops (but has competed in yo-yos).

Yes! Very entertaining those videos, and for so many different reasons! So different styles, so different cultural background, so different age of the participants, so different levels of professionalism, ... !
I feel the online contest should be kept alive in addition the contests "in person" that are probably again from next year on.

it's a treat to watch all these videos in a row !
I see different trends , and some news tricks(...°)

in the young players category , Taka's son Nobuyoshi   clearly stands out , he has the moves the control , the timing ..Kota at only 9 , revisits the moonwalks with fun and  a simple joy of play
in contrast I have found most performers in open category very "serious", rarely looking at the camera to connect with the audience(...)
in the women 's category , Japan leads with the number of players, and Martha performs very clean tricks,confirming her level of last year



I won't comment the 2 other categories before the judges deliberate

Fantastic routines!
I’m glad to watch what competitors have done in these videos and can’t wait the results. Some competitors take a lot of risk in their routine, other did a lot of novel tricks with originality. I look forward to the results. Which is the factor to get the highest score, the difficulty, originality, or risk? We can see it in the result this year.
